• Omschrijving Welcome to Panzeró Italian StrEat Food from Puglia, the place where Italian from Puglia’s traditions and lifestyle are just one bite away. At Panzerò we bring the Mediterranean cuisine – with its special combination of traditions and pleasure for life - to the table of those who want to eat deliciously healthy and genuine food in an informal and casual environment. All of our dishes are inspired by the simple farmers’ lifestyle and the Apulian traditions. Our grandmas created nutritious, balanced meals with fresh, tasty ingredients from the land. At Panzerò we do the same. How? We partner up with Puglia’s small local producers, who provide us with authentic, artisanal products. Each dish is prepared with passion, attention to quality, and details to guarantee a real Apulian food experience; with every bite, we want to take you to our land, sitting at the family table, enjoying food prepared as by our grandparents. It’s deeply-rooted ‘’cucina povera’’ tradition means its cuisine tends to be simple and delicious, relying on fresh, local produce. Puglia has lots of fantastic ingredients to choose from such as chickpeas, homegrown herbs and spices, extra virgin olive oil, tasty tomatoes, and of course fresh seafood and fish. The restaurant has a unique selling point as it doesn’t provide pizza and pasta like any other Italian restaurants based in the Netherlands. Panzeró is specialized in Panzerotti which inspired the name. Panzerotti are pocket of dough similar to pizza-calzone filled with scrumptious ingredients that vary according to taste offering a wide variety for vegetarians, vegan and meat lovers. Panzerotti can be ordered in a small or Large version giving the opportunity to customers to have a quick bite, a full meal or perhaps a selection of many of them in a small size where can be shared at the table. The dough remains always a secret, part of the know-how of the company but is basically a combination of various flours, mother yeast, extra virgin olive oil and a very slow leaving time up to 48h. The dough is very light and easy to digest and mostly of all is completely vegan. Next to Panzerotti, the place also offers other typical dish options like for example ‘’Puccia” (sandwiches) which is an artisanal home-made flat bread cooked on stone typical of Salento, an area of the same region and filled with gourmet ingredients like crispy octopus, Capocollo ham DOP, organic mozzarella and Italian juicy tomato ‘’Fiaschetto’’ SlowFood presidium. Panzeró also offer a tasty variety of Appetizers and Main Courses to accommodate all sort of customers and palate with our Antipasto Pugliese which consists in a selection of the best preserved vegetables that our region can offer, together with our Queen ingredient ‘’organic stracciatella cheese’’, all served with toasted Altamura bread DOP or a simple yet tasty Bruschetta with the most tasty tomatoes and the best extra virgin olive oil. For main course the place offers Lasagne Caserecce with a slowly cooked organic veal ragout or the classic Parmigiana di melanzane cooked according to the recipe of Mamma Anna and for fish lovers the crispy octopus served with an home-made chickpeas hummus Apulian style. Next to this the menu is completed with a wide selection of desserts like the classic Tiramisu or the Pistachio lava cake or the Pasticciotto Leccese, a scrumptious short-bread pastry filled with custard cream scented with lemon zest. Panzeró first location is located on Botersloot 50a, at the center of Rotterdam, only a few minutes away from Blaak train station, and is well-positioned in upcoming hipster surroundings with other cozy eateries, pubs, interesting shops of various kinds, the public Library as well as the nearby Erasmus University. The restaurant offers free wi-fi to its customers, they can recharge their phone or laptop with USB charges located in different corners of the place.

We are real Italians and we love our products and we will teach you how to do it. You will learn the Italian way of running a restaurant. We are located in the heart of Rotterdam, close to Metro Blaak. You can improve your English (or your Italian) because the language in the shop is English and Italian.

You don't have a 9-5 mentality, but can commit yourself when needed. In return, you will get a lot of job satisfaction and a warm welcome in a small international team. Our staff is friendly and well trained in customer service the “Italian way’’ and preparing the food according to procedure, for them it feels like a family and there are no formalities within the organization. Each individual can resolve any problem and they act as a team in accomplishing the various tasks that vary from serving to food preparing. Panzeró is also expanding the brand by opening more locations owned and in franchising across the Netherlands by externalizing the production in dark kitchens and scale the concept by keeping always the same food quality.
