MarineSecure Yacht ICT Consulting company looking for an intern eager to learn with the potential for employment (start SUMMER 2023).
Marine Secure provides specialized ICT consulting services to the yachting industry. Our work is done both from the office in Amsterdam and travel abroad when necessary. The student will have the opportunity to provide technical support to existing yacht clients, refit ICT systems on yachts (i.e. refreshing the customers hardware and updating configurations of equipment if necessary), and deploy new build yacht ICT systems (i.e. where we will deploy systems and networks including the design aspects). Management is also expected at this skill level (both project and help desk). Due to the nature of the work the student should be able to provide a VOG stating they can work in an environment where valuable property is located (i.e. no background involving theft). We work heavily in Cisco hardware (server, network, voice, and WiFi), VMware ESXi virtualization, high speed/throughput storage platforms, and Microsoft and Linux operating systems (server and PC).

- be at least in the 3rd year of studies - have a good eye for detail - have strong communication skills - proficiency in English is required - knowledge and practices with MS Office tools are required - completed online training on Atlassian JIRA Tool (classes are available for free online)
