  • Omschrijving African Dream Horse Safari is a family-run stable yard situated in Hoedspruit, South Africa. We stable anywhere between 30 and 40 horses at any given time, half of which are privately owned but all are cared for by African Dream. We offer horse riding lessons and horseback trails through the African bush, run an international volunteer programme and host horse shows. We also offer our volunteers and interns the opportunity to view African animals in their natural habitat while conducting weekly game drives in a neighbouring Big 5 reserve, as well as see more of the surrounding area on various excursions and help the local communities on outreach. The accommodation is situated on the same property as the stables, within the safe and secure Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate.   • Informatie Leren & Werken While at African Dream Horse Safari, you will be exposed to a variety of elements that come with running a successful stable yard. These can include but are not limited to the following, as it is dependant on what is required for each individuals internship: - Stable management - Stable marketing - Natural horsemanship - Horse and tack care - Organising a horse show - Basic veterinary - Equine exercises for both horses and riders - Conducting horseback trails A detailed plan of action will be drawn up once we have a better idea of your internship requirements.
  • Informatie Student Please note, that this is not a regular business for tourists, where interns are additionally deployed to support the staff present. It is a course centre with additional costs for the trainee.
