  • Omschrijving We are a sled dog kennel in Rovaniemi, Finland providing sled-dog tours for visiting tourists. Our kennel focusses on good animal husbandry practices and ethical and sustainable tourism.
  • Informatie Leren & Werken Training at the kennel will include feeding of the dogs, cleaning of the premises, training and socialisation of puppies and adults, as well as medical care of injured/sick dogs as directed by a veterinarian. Tasks will vary depending on the season. Students will be expected to participate in the physical training of the dogs as well.
  • Informatie Student A willingness to work hard in often poor weather outdoors and put the interests of the dogs first is expected. Winter training periods will focus on keeping the dogs fit and healthy while working, autumn training periods will focus getting the dogs physically fit for the season. Summer training periods are more focused on socialisation. We have cooperated with Zone College The daily working Language at the kennel is english, but Valentijn, one of the owners speaks dutch.
