  • Omschrijving The founders/owners wanted to do more for conservation and decided to get actively involved with the plight of the endangered cheetah. Our mission: “To promote and fund the conservation of cheetah and other endangered species through captive breeding, research and public awareness.”Today, while the ranch continues to house a large crocodilian population, it has turned its attention to the plight of endangered species and in line with this, the decision was made to expand and include a number of big cats. With the initial emphasis being on the highly endangered cheetah, the Cango Wildlife Ranch is home to more than 90 species of animals and reptiles
  • Informatie Student The Cheetah Preservation Foundation was founded in 1988, with the principal aim of ensuring the survival of the cheetah and other endangered species, as well as educating our visitors about the plight of the these animals. Through public involvement, the Cheetah Preservation Foundation was able to contribute and is continuing to contribute to the following projects and organisations: We need interns and/or volunteers to assist us with our endangered animal programs and in turn we assist them with their needs Programs are structured according to the needs of each student and dependent on what we have available and are able to do when student is here. We have a number of options and can have more than 1 program running at a time. If you are passionate about wild animals and want to make a difference in their lives, then this is for you. The rewards and benefits are two-fold: we give you an experience of a lifetime and you assist us in our conservation efforts. We have a number of options and can have more than 1 program running at a time.We charge for accommodation and meals however our accommodation takes a maximum of 12 at any time and is supervised professionally at all times.
