- Omschrijving We are a modern robot Dairy Farm In the Heart Of dairy Country. We milk 100-110 cows and raise all of our own young stock. We also crop a total of 325 acres most of which is used to feed our cattle and the rest is cash cropped.
- Informatie Student It is important for students to get experience elsewhere with a company. I have worked with a few companies to gain the experience I have. Many times the best way to learn is by doing the tasks. Activities include: Daily milking chores maintaining milking equipment feeding cows feeding calves maintaining cubicles driving a tractor(agricultural work) Maintaining farm equipment it is important that they show interest in the activities that are imposed on them and that they carry them out carefully and neatly. they must be able to work with others and independently as well. it is also nice if they participate socially within the home as well. Working times depend on the time of year. Longer days are possible but mostly 05:00 till 19:00 with lunch breaks and coffee breaks in between. We believe that Farming Also has to have a balance of social time as well. Room and board will be available in a Dutch speaking home!
