• Omschrijving Snono Studio is a small, independent design practice based in Utrecht, focused on visual identity, branding, and storytelling. We collaborate with a range of clients—from cultural organizations and NGOs to corporate businesses and startups—offering thoughtful design solutions that connect strategy, narrative, and visual clarity. Our work is concept-driven and detail-oriented. Whether developing a new brand identity or designing editorial publications, we value design that feels human, honest, and intentional. We’re particularly drawn to projects that bridge cultures, explore social impact, or bring overlooked stories to light. We keep our structure intentionally small to stay flexible and personal. The studio is shared with two other designers and a writer, creating a dynamic environment where exchange and critique are part of daily work.
• Informatie Leren & Werken We offer students an opportunity to take part in real design work in a professional but informal setting. Interns are treated as creative contributors, involved in everything from concept sketching to layout design and feedback rounds. We start each placement with a clear introduction to how we work, the tools we use (like Figma, Adobe software, and Notion), and what kind of projects we take on. Every week includes a short check-in to reflect on progress, gather feedback, and adjust goals when needed. Interns are encouraged to ask questions, propose ideas, and experiment within the boundaries of each brief. Over the years, we've worked with students from Dutch and international design programs who were interested in branding, editorial, and design strategy.
• Informatie Student The working language in the studio is primarily English, though Dutch is also welcome. The working language in the studio is primarily English. However, some of our projects involve Arabic or Dutch, depending on the client and target audience. This offers students the chance to see how design adapts across languages and cultures. Students with multicultural backgrounds or an interest in multilingual work often find the experience particularly relevant. At the same time, Dutch students who are curious to work on more international, cross-cultural design projects can also benefit greatly from this environment. We offer a flexible hybrid setup when needed, but encourage students to be present in the studio in Utrecht at least part of the week to benefit from shared feedback and collaboration.
