2 Voices B.V. (Parkside) Montessori Bilingual Preschool - Montessori Assistant - Children 1-5

This a Montessori Bilingual Preschool. Students will assist and work alongside a trained Montessori teacher. Helping to maintain/prepare the environment for the children, make materials, give simple language lessons and demonstrations with materials, take the children out to the park, help in the personal care of the children and the environment. The student will learn about Montessori pedagogy, the development of the child under 6, how to plan activities for children, how to support them in their learning and how to observe the child objectively, inorder to help further their development. Interested students will be offered the chance to participate in, 60 hour Orientation Course - Montessori Pedagogy. The working day is from 08:30 - 17:30. Students work a full day (shift) of 8 hours, or a half day (shift) of 4.5/5 hours. Sudents learn how to apply Montessori theory to their training and will be supported in their assignments and studies.

Naar wie zijn wij op zoek?

The student needs to be interested in the child and their development. Plus, an interest in Montessori Pedagogy. The student needs to have a basic understanding of English, although they will be expected to speak in their dominant language of, Dutch or English. The need to have good communication skills, an eye for detail and be creative in their thinking and work with the children. The ability to work as part of a team is important with respect for colleagues and the children. They must be prepared to follow the Montessori framework of the school.
