The student will start their day with milking 600 cows. A normal day includes learning pasture management, animal health and feeding. Machinery operation is also available on farm.

Kiwidutch dairies offers a unique opportunity to learn for Farming trainees in Picturesque Southland New Zealand. Located in the heart of Southland we milk 600 cows through a herringbone shed. John, a Netherlands national will be hands on in training. Trainees will learn New Zealand’s unique farming operations from Pasture management, calf rearing, tractor operations to visiting some of the worlds best locations within 1 hour of the farm, including Queenstown, Te Anau and Milford sounds.
