CEIP Son Basca Active centre for future active teachers assistants

For internship of theacher assistents students from VET school in the Netherlands. Teacher assistant students will have the opportunity to be in the English language sessions, physical education, art classes or other subjects helping the teacher. The day begins with a student assembly where they talk about what they are going to do that week or with an individual or group reading session. Afterwards, the day continues with the established schedule. You will have the opportunity to be in a classroom and learn about the day-to-day functioning of the center and the center's methodology (active methodology, where the focus is on the students). If it is the case that on the date you visit us, there is some special activity such as conferences, excursions...etc. you will be able to participate in them.

Our center looks for active people, involved in their tasks and with the capacity to adapt themselves and participate in the dynamics of the center. We want an active participation and contribution to ideas and suggestions so that we (as teachers) can improve our practice and continue offering the best.

Our center offers an active and participatory methodology, not only for students but also for teachers and the entire educational community. Apart from our active methodology, it is worth highlighting the great capacity for social inclusion in which we work, since in our center we have 40% of students with families from other countries, especially from Morocco. Therefore, both methodology, spaces and resources are very much aimed at the inclusion of the entire educational community.
